The Proposal Form, An Insurance policy Document or The Insurance Contract form. They all mean the same. It is a legal contract between the insurance company (the insurer) and the person(s), business, or entity being insured (the insured). It is the most important and basic document required for an insurance contract between the insured and insurance company. It includes the insured's fundamental information like address, age, name, education, occupation the person's medical history for example in a medical insurance cover. Reading your policy helps you verify that the policy meets your needs and that you understand your and the insurance company’s responsibilities if a loss occurs. Insurance policy document is a reference document that contains all information regarding cover, insured, insurance company, premium paid, risk covered, and sum assured.
